When you are queen of the United Kingdom, you have access to countless strands of pearls of all varieties of shapes and colours, diamonds and gems of the finests quality, and so many priceless pieces that are centuries old. However, Her Majesty Queen has quite the impressive collection of jewels from her family, husband, and in her own right. Many of her Majesties pieces, hold a deep sentimental value, as they have been passed down from generation to generation, but also many of her more modern pieces have touching tributes to her family, position, and beliefs. In this post, I will go through the pieces of jewelry her majesty often wears from day to day, and all i can tell you about their origins.

Van Cleef and Arpels
 Sweet Heart Bracelet

Her Majesty the Queen wears a pretty stack of gold bracelets, two of which come from the *it* brand at the moment for jewels, The French Jewelry Maison, Van Cleef & Arpels. The first one that came to her stack was the Vintage Alhambra Five Motif in Blue Agate, which retails for a whopping 7150$. Then in 2023, @from.birkhall.with.love discovered that her majesty the queen has been wearing the Sweat Heart Bracelet in Carneilian. I think it could have been a coronation present from his majesty the King! As for more of her bracelets, her majesty wears a lovely yellow gold diamond cross bracelet, pave set with diamonds. That same bracelet also features an evil eye. Her Majesty also wears a chain bracelet, which alternates in between larger loops and smaller loops (not quite a figaro chain). And a lovely delicate evil eye enamel bracelet with multi coloured enamel spacers. Ocassionally, I have seen her Majesty wear a tiny bracelet, which looks to be handmade of cooper.

Kiki McDonough Apollo Small Blue topaz and
Diamond Pendant in Yellow gold
Back in the earlier years in her marriage, Her majesty often wore strands of pearls with a diamond clasp, if she were to wear a necklace at all. But since about 2020, Her Majesty has started wearing more simple and delicate jewels, and the Kiki McDonough Apollo Small Diamond and Blue Topaz Pendant in Yellow Gold what the first of her dianty gold necklaces that she still wears to this day. Many people have speculated saying this pendant may have come from Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales, because she her self has quite the collection of Kiki Mcdonough jewels, but I also think that the Queen's sister, Annabel Elliot does also own a selection of their designs. Another addition, that I think she began wearing in 2022 (feel free to correct me if I am wrong) is a yellow gold disk with her birthstone, Ruby, in the middle. It also features the intials of all her grandchildren from her first marriage (L= Lola, F= Freddy, E=Eliza, L=Louis (not prince Louis), G= Gus). She wears this pendant on the same chain as her othet one. More recently, I have also seen her wearing another necklace, seemingly everyday. It is a delicate yellow gold chain, with a small yellow gold heart on it. @britishroyaljewels on Instagram has pointed out that it looks like it may have the prince of wales feather emblem, but we haven't yet gotten an image to confirm or deny that claim.

Bentley and Skinner Three Row Ring
Her Majesty tends to keep it pretty simple for her rings. The Queen typically only wears her wedding rings, and I don't think she takes them off! Her engagement ring is as timeless as it gets. It's composed of a center stone (likely to be around 3-5 carats big). In some lightine, the stone appears to perhaps have a yellow-ish hue to it. The main stone is flanked by three baguette cut diamonds. the whole ring is set in platinum. This ring was part of the personal collection of jewels belonging to Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother. The ring was gifted to her by King George VI on the occasion of the birth of her first daughter, Queen Elizabeth II. Following her death in 2002, the ring was left to Queen Elizabeth II, who gave it to her son, King Charles III to propose to Queen Camilla with. Underneath her engagement ring, her majesty the Queen wears a thin welsh gold wedding band made by Clogau. The gold comes from a reserve which has made rings for the royal family for decades. Occasionally, her Majesty will also wear on her right hand, a An Early 20th Century Multi Gem Three Row Ring, an identical one is offered by Bentley and Skinner.

Out of her majesty's entire jewelry collection, from everything to ancient diamonds and pearls, to modern gold disk pendants, my favourite one, which the queen has worn for the longest of time, 77 years to this day in fact, is her priceless smile! I just love how her majesty always finds it in herself to smile. One has to admit, that her majesty's smile is very contagious. Happy Birthday you Majesty, best of wishes for 77!
