This year, her Majesty the Queen has pulled out of the event, alongside the traditional Rembrance Sunday service tommorrow, following advice from her doctors, after contracting a seasonal chest infection. @MajestyMagzine on X realesed the statement saying "While this is a source of great disapointment to The Queen, she will mark the occasion privately at home and hopes to return to public duties early next week.". Furthermore, over on Instagram, the lovely @from.birkhall.with.love added on more personal insight following the news of her majesty not being able to attend "we all know how much these occasions mean to her and possibly this year even more so, as it's especially dedicated to the heroes of the second world war as we marked the 80th anniversary of D-Day in June. Teh Queen's father, The Late Major Bruce Shand, was one of the brave men that fought for fought for peace and freedom in Europe, so it's easy to imagine how dissapointed she will be that she can't be there tonight"
