For those who are unaware, On Wenesday January 11th 2024, The Princess of Wales addmitted to The Clinc Hospital in London to undergo a planned abdominal surgery. We learned about this the following day with this statement from Kensington Palace.

Not event hours later, Buckingham palace released themselves a statement, however this time it was regarding the King's Health.

In these statements, you can clearly see the difference in opperations in between Buckingham and Kensington Palace. First, the statement from Kensington Palace is that they gave much more information, perhaps to avoid leaks or whatnot. They told us the bare nessesities on what whas to happen. But from Buckingham palace we learned why the king was in hospital, ahead of the time that he was admitted. Intrestingly enough, they used the word "planned" to describe her abdominal surgery. But this can mean it was planned hours ahead, and due to the fact that the prince and princess had to cancel engagements, I do think it was rather short notice.

Hours after the statement was made, the London Clinic hospital had press gates set up and there where swarms of reporters there. On X, it was brought up that the palace would've signed off on it. Regardless, I still do think that it was a total invasion of privacy that the press was gathered there to try and get any glimpse of any royal. I also think this could've been a security hazard for the hospital.

Now onto the good news! This morning, the following statement was realeased by Kensington Palace:

I would like to wish His Majesty and The Princess of Wales a speedy recovery!
